"Building Up" is a co-living project designed for the refugee population of Syracuse, New York. This proposal aims to generate an environment to help build a resilient and learning community by offering open spaces to be activated by residents throughout the project and workshop spaces where residents are able to learn from one another. By producing such spaces, it gives an opportunity for refugees to develop an array of skills that could aid in securing jobs while also fostering a strong community spirit.
