Hello and Hafa Adai! My name is Annabelle Sablan. I am an aspiring architect and a recent graduate of Syracuse University. Originally from Saipan, Northern Marianas Islands, I came to Syracuse to pursue a degree in architecture, a life-long goal of mine since I was a little girl. My passion for design grew from my love of art, making, and my curiosity for understanding how things come to be and function the way they are. I love architecture not only because it is a product of innovation, creativity, and passion, but because of the way it challenges an individual to think critically, get outside their comfort zone, and produce unforeseen solutions. My favorite part about architecture is the collaboration it brings to work with different people from different backgrounds and professions. To be able to learn from others and to view a project from multiple perspectives is one of the most exciting things about this field.
